Calcium Hypochlorite Dosing Systems We provide calcium hypochlorite dosing systems for both tablets and granules. Generally, these systems are provided for swimming pools or potable water disinfection where operators do not wish to lift or handle liquid chlorine. Please see an example below.
Swimming Pool & Spa Water Disinfection This luxury inner city hotel has a swimming pool and spa which require disinfection with chlorine. The consultant proposed use of calcium hypochlorite tablets for disinfection, as it was easier for operators to handle. Two ProCal calcium hypochlorite tablet feeders were installed in the plant room. These feeders receive a water line from the pool circulation flow and this water is used to dissolve tablets in the feeder. Chlorinated water from the feeder is then dosed back into the circulation line using a centrifugal pump.
Chlorine residual is measured and controlled using a ProMinent D2C pH/Chlorine analyser. This provides a pulse duration control signal to the ProCal feeder. Download the current brochure.
