Gas Chlorination Systems
We offer complete gas chlorination systems including ProMinent Hydro gas chlorine dosing equipment.

ProMinent Hydro have vacuum operated gas Chlorinators up to 40 kg/h. Sizes are 2, 5, 10 and 40 kg/h.

Normally ProMinent Hydro Gas Chlorinators would be supplied for direct cylinder or drum mounting, but can be supplied for header mounting if preferred, with flexibles, drip leg, heater and auxiliary cylinder or drum valves. The 40 kg/h chlorinators must be installed with flexibles.

When mounting the chlorinator directly to the cylinder or drum there is no pressurised flexible connections, making the installation safer. Gas chlorination is the most economical way to dose chlorine into water as the cost of gas chlorine is still far cheaper than sodium hypochlorite or calcium hypochlorite in running costs. Capital cost is generally lower.

Typical components of a gas chlorination system include vacuum regulators, ejectors, booster pumps, servo gas control valves, vacuum auto-changeover valves and rotameters. Our systems integrate all components in a skid mount or building mount pack usually with all plumbing and wiring installed and pre-commissioned with an electrical control panel. This makes site installation simple and fast.

All plumbing is schedule 80 grey UPVC and all fixings are Aickinstrut vinylester which are 100% resistant to corrosion from accidental gas release.

Our gas chlorination systems are designed to meet the stringent requirements of AS2927. Initial design is done in 3D using Inventor. Assembly is done to design drawings and actual installed plant will look exactly as the design has promised.
